It needs 1 bull market and 1 bear market to learn the ropes

Crypto was a trial and error story for me.

I was aware of crypto since 2017, but crypto and even financials doesn't interest me.

This changed 2021 with the mem coin hype around DOGE and the bullmarket back then.

It caught my attention, I wanted to profit like all those tubers and influencers did and started investing gambling into crypto. Why I say gambling? Because I had zero knowledge what crypto is or what it is about. Zero.

My trials and errors included falling victim to pump&dumps, rugpulls, hacks, wrong transactions, paying insane gas fees, paying insane gas fees twice (...because signing this and confirming that or putting too low gas fee so tx doesn't go through...), buying the tops and buying into dipping dips, FOMO.

But the most important lesson, I've learnt in the bear market...DYOR, steady investment, keeping emotions out of it.

I'm not saying that I am an expert now, still learning. The next lesson I hope I can master (and hoping that I will be able to) is to actually take profits in a bullmarket.
