It's 2023 and banks still don't operate on weekends and holidays.

Today, I sold some video game items for cash and the buyer sent me money via bank transfer, only thing is that it's a Sunday and on Monday there's a national holiday in my country, which means I won't be able to receive the money and confirm the trade until Tuesday. While the transfer was free, it honestly is a joke in my opinion that you're not able to transfer money whenever you like - unlike with crypto.

I really don't know why this is still a thing. If crypto restricted trades on weekends the general public would use this to talk down on crypto, but the fact that banks and the stock market do it this way is okay because it's always been like this and you should just think ahead. No thanks, I want my money and that should be possible whenever in my opinion.

In case you're wondering why I didn't do the trade through crypto, it's because I just need the money on my bank account so I can pay off some bills ASAP. Only mistake is that I'm pretty dumb at times and realized I wouldn't get the money for a few days, unfortunately.
