Hear me out! I'm not talking about institutions, ETFs, governments or whatnot. There is a chance with maturity the market will be more stable, nobody really expects that in 20 years, BTC will have 100% predictable 4 year cycles. A mature asset like future BTC should spend most of its time in historical maximums, with some occasional dips, same as gold or the S&P500.
It's fine to think that at some point we'll break the mold and as long as you understand that trying to predict WHEN it's going to happen is a gamble, you're fine. So who knows?, maybe this time IS different! Probably not, but maybe...
