It’s not rocket science, people like Bitcoin because it’s equal

In the modern world there are a lot of illusions of equality when it comes to our money. And I mean our money individually. Banks will let you open an account but they control the funds and can freeze them when they want. Fees on fees on fees will be put on you if you simply move your money around one to many times. Let alone the inflation that the money in our banks have to deal with.

When it comes to politics yes we are a democracy but we don’t decide every issue. We only elect people we like and hope they do what we want. If they do something we don’t like, too bad, recalling governors is extremely rare. It’s more of an illusion of freedom and equality when we vote because at the end of the day we are only making a few decisions.

Bitcoin has no vail. The bitcoin you buy and hold is the bitcoin you own in your wallet. No one can touch it. No one can make you give it to them. You can send it to wherever or to whoever you want whenever you want to. And the fees are small and only charged once there are no overdrawn fees. People call it slow but you can’t even transfer money to someone else if it’s a Saturday with the banking system. When I withdraw money it takes 3 days. That’s what I call slow. Bitcoin will take 15-20 mins, I think that’s fast considering the benefits.

The point I’m trying to make is there’s no big secret as to why people are choosing bitcoin. It’s better in almost every way and in a free market people move to what is better. If we get some appreciation on our favorite asset its another win.
