I've noticed a lack of communities online where devs / technical individuals can compare chains and discuss blockchain tech in general. If such a community were to exist, what would you want to see in it?

I've noticed that there really is a lack of a solid community where people can discuss the more technical aspects of blockchain tech. As a blockchain dev myself I've found that it's hard to compare chains before choosing which to build upon because every chain seems to have its own "silos" where knowledge exists but isn't really shared. I've also noticed other Reddit posts of people looking for something like this but nothing seems to exist at this point.

My question is this: if it were to exist, what would you want it to be like?

For example, I'm thinking that something like a quick on-chain authentication to become a member (to reduce spam a bit), and maybe even a reputation system integrated into it. I'm not sure if it'd be a Reddit sub, a Discord server, or a combination of multiple pieces but I'm starting to think that blockchain tech is far enough along that we could use pieces of Web2 and Web3 to build something unique.

What are your guys' thoughts?

Edit: For the record I'm a bit more focused on just creating a useful community where knowledge can be shared, than I am of trying to make everything Web3-driven. I'd like the community to function well more than I'd like it to be some bleeding-edge example of what's "possible".
