Job is paying in crypto only. What's the easiest way to have it converted to USD?

This is for someone who isn't knowledgeable in crypto and they just want to have it converted to USD as easily as possible.

I know there are companies like Strike that can convert salaries to BTC but can it be done in the other direction as easily?

Does it make sense to have it automatically sent to an exchange wallet then to have it exchanged to USD?

Also, saving on fees is important so if someone could also keep that in mine for recommendations.
