He wasn’t interested in investing or buying, he just wanted to know more about it. I told him what little I know, and pointed him in the direction of some good documentaries (the method I believe he personally will learn the most from).
But I just couldn’t help but find it fascinating that here’s a man in his 80’s who is now aware of a future currency/store of value and is keen to know more. A man who has dealt with centralised finance his entire life, but can see the potential future in this idea.
He has no background in tech, blue collar his whole life, but the excitement/hype (whatever you want to call it) has trickled down enough for him to be interested.
I think this can only be a good thing for Bitcoin and crypto as a whole.
