Just like how not all successful movies need a sequel, BAYC did not need the addition of APE coin to it.

Its been almost a week now we can already conclude now that APE coin is indeed, just a cash grab.

I’m not the biggest fan of NFTs but you can’t deny that BAYC was a huge success. However, APE did not prove to be the same and it’s obvious that it was just created as a cash grab to milk out as much money possible left in the BAYC project.

That’s kinda sad cause it gives the NFT market a bad look which is something that it already suffers from.

NFT actually have a lot of use cases and utility yet people only focus on useless JPEGs which is exactly why I ended up hating NFTs and instead put money into projects like Ethereum with actual utility or bitdao with the backing of the largest treasury in the market.

Overall, i just feel like APE coin wasn’t a good take. Why ruin the legacy of an already successful project and let people talk smack?
