Justice Department - Bullish/Pro Crypto Announcement (in my opinion)

After listening to that announcement it really wasn’t about crypto, but about cyber crime, and the criminals using cryptocurrency. They have caught a major bad actor that facilitates global cyber crime, they are going to continue to fight against cyber crime, even if they use crypto. They are going to continue to find bad actors that are abusing crypto regulations globally, that endanger retail investors.

Overall it’s a bullish/Pro crypto announcement. No one said they should get rid of crypto or stop crypto innovation. They said cyber criminals will still be caught even if they use crypto. If you know about crypto, it’s a public ledger.. it’s not necessarily the best for criminal activity. I know there’s mixers but not a surprise that you will get found eventually.

I think the market should look at this as bullish news that only further protects retail/institutional investors.
