Larissa coin scam or potential?

I'm making this post cuz 5 minutes before creating this post my dad and my brother told me about this coin where you buy mining hardware and can earn rewards from it. Sounds like bitcoin no?

After making this post I'm going to do some research on the coin to see what I can find and will post my findings either in a few hours or tomorrow sometime as well as take feedback from this community.

Im also making this post cuz the last time a similar pitch came across my 2 braincells I threw $100 in and a week later everything disappeared. Site, emails, numbers, all gone.

There isn't any posts about larissa on this subreddit so hopefully this will be a warning for future would be victims or a great oppurtunity for would be oppurtunitists.
