Launchpool benefits

I think I kinda understand how new projects get financed by IDO, IFO etc., which is basically presale at an initial price. I do not understand however, what are the benefits of puting the projects to Binance launchpool. Are those projects getting staking rewards? For example, if there is 5,000,000 BNB staked and launchpool is for 30 days, does it mean, that the project will get ca. 20,833BNB, which is calculated as 5% average staking APY for 30/365 days
