Launchpools/ getting back in

Is it worth the time and effort to participate in binance launchpools ? I've read up on the topic online and I've gotten mixed results. Some claim to make thousands out of 50 bucks and others claim to lose money . It's confusing because People invest the same amount of money into the same pools and some make major profits and other lose their entire investment.

Please be as informative as possible since I've only recently gotten back in the game after a long break . If you have any tips or advice unrelated to launchpools feel free to share it with me I'd really appreciate it. I don't have a huge budget so please also consider that.
