Ledger Not Working - Customer support lying to me

I bought a ledger, ledger team assures me works perfectly with sparrow. I get errors when connecting, ledger blames Sparrow, sparrow says the connection is fine, and the device is the issue. I have been going back and forth with ledger, honestly, putting me in circles.

I have a keystone , that works flawless with sparrow, coldcard, flawlessly with sparrow, Trezor, flawless with sparrow.

I been misled by ledger customer support (multiple people), telling me multiple different things. Now ledger finally offered to replace my device, but I need to send them my device, which I put my seed phrase into, and I must trust that resetting the device, would completely erase my seed phrase.

Trezor and coldcard I know, tell you to destroy the device, and send them a photo. To be honest, ledger support seems pretty crappy, wouldn't say terrible, just a lot of weird vibes, from the inconsistent going in circles, and pointing fingers at everyone (even me, ironically all my other devices work fine). It is why I liked multi sig, because honestly, I cannot trust these companies to act ethically.

Initially, they offered me a refund and offered to help resolve it, sometimes taking over a week to respond.I asked for a refund, but now they said the refund period expired (as they took too long to respond to my messages)

Any suggestions on what I should do? Return it? or go chargeback? Or keep the faulty device?
