Lets discuss audits: A Certik audit is worthless. Don't ape into something because it claims to be audited by Certik

Just like regular financial audits, crypto audits firms are also rated on the kind of work they provide to clients, and the depth of their audit.

Certik is a junk grade audit firm that audits everything they can lay their hands on with a very basic checklist. They dont really identify if a project is susceptible to hacks. Hell, Certik audited projects have even rugpulled in the past (Eg: MOORE). Certik has audited dubious projects and anything claiming to have passed a Certik audit is not a good look.

At the other end of the spectrum, audit firms like Trail of Bits and Dapp.org have a renowned history of auditing top tier projects. These audit firms are so busy that its almost impossible to get them to audit a shitty project even if they chuck a bunch of money at them. Even top projects wait for months to get audited by Dapp.org.

Back to shitty audit firms, just like to CertiK, Peckshield is another audit firm that has had its projects hacked. Eg: Cover protocol.

Tier 1 (The best): Dapp.org, Trail of Bits

Tier 2: Chain Security, Runtime Verification and ABDK

Tier 3: Kudelski, Open Zeppelin, ConsenSys, Quantstamp

Tier F: (Terrible): CertiK, Peckshield

Its not an extensive list, but make sure you do research on the audit firm before relying on any such statement that shitcoin XYZ was audited by DAB. There are even more terrible audit reports coming in these days
