Let's do a thought exercise that the US Government decides to actively pursue ownership of as many BTC as possible.

Some suspension of disbelief will obviously be necessary.

Let's assume the US Treasury has decided that it is in the best interest of the United States to own as much BTC as possible.

How will they execute the plan?

FUD to drive price down? Slow incremental buys to fly under the radar?

How will BTC values be impacted over the short and long term?
