The US founders believed in sound money. They wrote it (gold and silver) into law and because of that the 19th century in America was the greatest increase in standard of living for any normal man than any other time in recorded history. They then took our gold and devalued the Dollar and gave you paper back.

Fast forward to 1987, Goldman gets bailed out. Then we get the .com bubble. Then the GFC and most recently Covid. Whose fault is it ? How many went to jail ?
