Lightweight nodes with c-lightning

Hi! I’m researching options to run a lightning node and have a few questions:

  1. Can c-lightning run upon neutrino node (bip157) e.g. provided by lightning labs?
  2. Afaik c-lightning can run upon spruned, it looks good, but I don’t quite understand what’s the pros / cons between spurned and neutrino, can someone help?
  3. Are there any other options?
  4. Are there any plans to teach bitcoind to work like neutrino node?

Ultimately I’d like to run c-lightning in the cloud and ssd is my biggest concern so far.

Edit.

  1. I found out you can run bitcoind in pruned mode, seems like it’s the same as what’s spruned is doing? So the same pros / cons? And the time you need to get it running is comparable with neutrino node?
