Liquidated but my liquidation price was never hit

I got liquidated out of a position, but the price never hit the liquidation price. There was a big discrepancy between the mark price and the actual price. The mark price must have hit my liquidation, but the actual price didn't even come near. I've spoken to binance about it and they are not helping. Has anyone else had this issue, and have they managed to recover any funds? I don't think I should lose my funds because of mark price hitting the liq when it never actually traded at that price. Especially considering Mark price is based on price on other exchanges and can be way more volatile. I have heard of other traders being liquidated in situations like this and being able to recover their money, is that true? They haven't been helpful at all for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ????
