Matter Labs seeks to trademark “ZK.” They are going against everything crypto stands for.

As you may have seen, scumbag company Matter Labs has filed to trademark “ZK.”

Not only is this against the entire ethos of crypto, their shit-posting connoisseur founder claimed it was to protect users, not the company - which we all know is a lie.

As Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal said-

No one should be allowed to monopolize math made publicly available by some of the brightest minds in math and science.

No one should falsely claim they are fighting for users, when they are acting on their own needs.

Openness is fundamental to Ethereum and must be preserved

This is an attack on the beauty of open-sourced projects. Let’s all stand together and call out Matter Labs on their lowlife behavior.
