Memorizing seed

So has anyone else just memorized their 24 word seed phrase and burned their written copies? Feel like I see a lot of product like stampseed for imprinting your seed on metal, but doesn’t that defeat some of the purpose of BTC? Like if dude breaks into my house he can still rob me at gun point and break into my safe cause my seed is in there for them to take…or honestly a more plausible scenario I’m trying to make a illegal border, crossing as a economic or political refugee and right before I’m allowed to cross the cartel members I hired to transport me shake me down before I cross and take my stamp seed. I just don’t understand how having a physical copy of your seed is helpful in anyway…seems like a major liability. Idk ????‍♂️ anyone got any good arguments for one of these? I’m single with no kids or next of kin. If I was worried about inheritance I’d set up a family multi-sig wallet.
