Moon distribution is right around the corner. Voting, common misconceptions and things you should know

Karma: Patience and HODLing does pay off! For those who held and didn’t touch your moons during the previous month, you just earned yourself a 20% bonus! A common misconception however is that you will receive that bonus as additional moons. This is not the case The bonus is applied to karma. This means that your karma got a 20% boost. You earn karma by posting and commenting in r/cryptocurrency. Karma earned from awards does not factor into the calculation for moons.

Tipping: You can tip 100 moons without impacting the bonus. You only need to keep moons from your last distribution, you can tip/spend/sell the rest without impacting the bonus.

Governance polls: CCIP-006 implemented a 5% bonus for voting in at least one poll plus an additional 1.25% for each additional governance poll was implemented by CCIP-014. These bonuses will also be applied to karma and the governance polls for this round are as follows:

1. CCIP-027 - Comments with negative karma should NOT get 2x multiplier

2. CCIP-028 - Adjust the criteria for successful subreddit governance polls
