Moons Are A Prime Example of How Community Tokens Should Be Done

I think everyone here is fairly happy with the value that moons provides to the sub. As we know a lot of tokens out there are scams or at best poorly developed and weakly implemented. Now the bear market has been a monster eating up the value of tokens across the board and general sentiment in crypto has fallen drastically. Moons have been a way of incentivizing keeping the community alive and engaged in the face of very hard economic times both on a micro scale of crypto and a macro scale of the general economy. We may not see it as such but the fact is that this sub is very much in the mainstream media's eye and is actually a pretty good source of to keep up to date of almost every notable occurrence in crypto, large or small(even if the info may in somewhat in accurate at times you are at least informed and can dyor to fill in the gaps). There are even times where new news and analysis are broken on this sub that change the whole market and general public crypto consciousness.

Even in the bear market, Moons have managed to hold its value. When most other tokens were down 60% and more, Moons have more or less kept its YTD value. It's down around 10% right now but that's unfair to say as moons always sell off soon after Moons Week. Only a few days ago it was level with it's value in January 2022 but we can say it's down maybe 5% to split the difference. This is still WAY better than most other tokens. As a matter of fact, community(fan) tokens have done very well this bear market. This is again because they are not driven by speculation and a pump and dump attitude but by devout and loyal fans and supporters who really care about the health and positivity of the community.

As an example here are the YTD values of the three community or fan tokens on Binance that were listed before the start of 2022.
