Moons bigger adoption would lead to lower ratios, which may lead to lower engagement and hype. Do you think this is a design issue?

I recently made a post about shilling moons outside of reddit(on twitter for example). Most people didn't approve of the idea because they would like moons adoption to happen organically, which is a totally valid reason, but many ppl said they don't want that because it leads to lower ratios, hence making stacking those moons harder for them.

Now I get that ppl would like to hold more moons, but I feel like if those get to their target where they'd consider themselves a "moon whale", they will just keep holding and stop engaging in the community because of the lower ratios, before dumping their bags eventually.

I think the project will fail this way in the long term, because everyone will consider themselves "too late" and stop trying to contribute to the conversations around here.

Do you think this is a design issue? And if you do, how can it be fixed(if that is even possible)
