Moving my funds

I started my cold storage with ledger and have been consistently depositing through an address provided by ledger live. Amounts look fine and no apparent shenanigans. But if I felt that I didn’t feel comfortable with the ledger, ledger live and all of my past deposits flowing through that system, could I take my funds and create a new and fresh cold wallet? And the relationship with ledger would be severed? Would it be as easy as getting a cold card or Trezor? I’m not complaining about ledger, it is just that everything I have done since I’ve started has been through them and I might want a clean start. Quick second question. How about creating new cold card relationship and having multiple accounts? Keeping the ledger and start a new fund with a new setup?
