 | According to Arkham Intelligence and on-chain analytics, custodians managing Mt Gox's bitcoin holdings have moved 11,833.64 BTC, worth over $1 billion based on current bitcoin prices. The large transaction took place on Wednesday at block height 886,484, transferring exactly 11,833.64 BTC, valued at roughly $1.066 billion. Arkham notified the crypto community through X at 7:12 p.m. ET on March 5. Interestingly, the custodian paid only 1,808 satoshis (around $1.64) in on-chain transaction fees for this massive transfer. The bitcoins were sent from a Pay-to-PubKey-Hash (P2PKH) address labeled “1PuQB” to another P2PKH address identified as “1Mo1n.” Despite moving 11,833.64 BTC, Mt Gox still holds 36,080 BTC, worth approximately $3.25 billion at current market prices.
