My 73 year old hippie grandma just asked me about ethereum.

My grandma takes care of about 30 chickens, ducks and geese. She's pretty intelligent in general but she's still 73, very sweet.

I guess her husband was watching one of the older Joe Rogan episodes (not sure which) and they were discussing ethereum

I went out to say hi and grab some mail ordered beers (mfing delicious ones) since they can't deliver to my address, and she drops "so I heard about this thing called ethereum (she said eth-er-em) what exactly is it?"

Meanwhile I'm sitting in a chicken coop with my shorts blown off that my grandma even cares at all to ask, even my very intelligent (nuclear engineer) younger brother doesn't care about crypto.

I gave her a very very simple overview about both bitcoin and ethereum and she literally never ran out of questions lol

Never thought I'd see the day where Gorilla Joe Rogan discussing crypto on a podcast would make my grandparents interested in Ethereum, is this real life still?
