My dad (late 60’s) bought his first crypto today

My dad called me a few days ago and told me he is interested in investing in crypto because he saw an article about it in the newspaper. I told him that Id be happy to help him out setting up wallet and stuff. Today we got together and I briefly explained him what it is and how it works. He found it really interesting that one doesnt need to buy a full coin but can also buy a decimal value of it.

Anyway..I hade a wallet for him and I sent him 10 ADA that I managed to get over some time. We registered on Coinbase and bought about 35$ worth of it himself. He was surprised how fast and cheap it is to move funds from exchanges and wallets. He was also able to get into Coinbase super fast and earned about 25$ there which absolutely blew his mind. He couldnt believe that he was able to get crypto just by learning about it! It took him an hour to watch all lessons and he took ages before clicking on the answers but he did it. I havent seen him so happy in a while which really made me feel awesome. He is in his late 60s and he is astonished by crypto. He asked me how the hell this hasn’t replaced credit cards yet.. xD And I agree completely!

Tldr: Dad bought his first crypto and he was astonished how awesome it is.
