You never know when that device you depend on might break. And in my case it's way worse than just a cracked screen. It is completely trashed and inoperable. I can't even connect it to a laptop to try and recover files. I wish I could say it's because my wife and I got wild last night and crushed it during our festivities, but alas it's much more lame: I have spazzy small kids. Need I say more? R.I.P. Phone. Anyhow, I'm not the least bit worried about my crypto. Why? BECAUSE I BACKED EVERYTHING UP. And you should too.
"Oh no, my Trust Wallet!" - said not me because I had backed it up and got my seed phrase.
"Oh no, my Metamask!" - said not me because I had backed it up and got my seed phrase.
"Oh no, my reddit vault!" - said not me because I had backed it up and got my seed phrase.
"Oh no, my Google Authenticator!" - said not me because I had exported everything to a 2nd device.
If you haven't backed everything up, what's stopping you? Life might throw you a curveball 15 minutes from now. It will take less time than that to back everything up. Don't let your assets sit on the chain indefinitely because you 'never got around to it'!
EDIT: u/DonerTheBonerDonor pointed out you need your vault password for reddit which I also have stored. Thanks for that clarification, and nice user name btw!
