On March 30th I transferred about 0.5 ETH ($790.60 at the time) from my wallet to another wallet using MetaMask. There are no typos in the spelling of the receiving wallet (quadruple checked). The transaction succeeded and was logged as "Confirmed". However, the receiving party reported never receiving the funds. Curious, I checked the transaction ID provided by MetaMask using https://etherscan.io/ - there is no history of the transaction at the provided transaction ID. Here is the transaction ID: 0x637e07069c5191967047141095c84b7ad75cee369b44d4f0d225670ede430c6e Here is my wallet: 0x840A2D7A01984D4F970eb88c46Cb536Ed90985aD Here is a screenshot confirming the transaction was confirmed, including details about Nonce, Amt, Gas, and the Gas Price: Any explanations or ideas? I cannot find any resources for a transaction that was confirmed on my end but somehow does not exist in the searchable block chain (as far as I can tell). Please let me know if you have any thoughts. Thank you. [link] [comments] |
