Yesterday, I posted a question on r/ethreum asking how to escape the heavy fee levied by exchanges while trying to withdraw erc-20 tokens. I got very less genuine answers and a hell lot of DMs talking about a magical way to reduce the fee.. a new scam!
People are talking about connecting our wallet with some interface or resetting the wallet in order to reduce the fee. It's a pity that these scammers know such little about how things work. I was basically sent some phishing links with some famous names and was asked to connect my wallet to it which will generate a QR.. What I'd basically be doing is input my seedphrase into those website and the other side would get access to our wallets. Don't fall for it!
It seems funny that people even started to argue and explain me how resetting the wallet via interface will make me thankful and all (Emotional Trigger).. Its either these scammers are such idiots or they are on the lookout for gullible people who don't understand a thing about crypto.. Below are the few URLs I was sent...
