New job how to protect assets

I have had a job that has nothing to do with computers for over 10 years.

Recently I got a computer job requiring me to click on different website links for the company and evaluate the quality of the websites and how they pertain to the search results. They warned us that we should have some form of virus protection. Online people that I've talked to that have worked for the company say they use bitdefender or just the standard windows protection and they don't have any issues.

I am concerned though because I do have a ledger hardware wallet. Also trustwallet for some other coins.

I would be using my mobile device as well as my laptop for this new job.

What do you recommend for protection?

I assume trustwallet would be the most susceptible to malware.

Could my hardware wallet be compromised? For example if my PC became compromised through a virus etc? If I was still sending and receiving funds through Ledger would I be okay?
