New to the world of Crypto - am I crazy or is Ethereum clearly the future?

I'm in my 30s and have been banging it out in the rat race for over a decade now and late (relatively) to the world of crypto, but for the past week I've just been starting to peek behind the curtain. Wow, there is so much to learn it's unreal - I haven't even scratched the surface at this point, just reading articles and whitepapers on blockchain technology, Zulfikar Ramzan's series on BTC, etc., but it's so interesting and exciting.

The deeper I go, the wider the scope of use case applications seem to be for ETH - I mean wide network, technology/applications being built on its blockchain, smart contracts, DAOs and NFTs - am I crazy or is Ethereum the full-on future? BTC seems like a gold/resource play, but ETH seems to be laying the foundation of the future economy meant for scalability.

I'm not even personally invested in any coins (yet) as I want to try to wrap my head around as much of this world as I can first, but this is all just super exciting. Can't wait to see what so many of you geniuses in this sub build now and into the future. Sidenote: if there's a video series or content producer you found that gave you a great base layer into ETH or crypto as a whole, I'm all ears. I love to learn.
