No, a boomer did not kill the amendment

Lots of comments saying a boomer f**cked up the amendment.

Boomers did a lot of stupid things, but this fella is even worse.

You see, Richard Shelby, the old turd who single-handedly killed the infrastructure bill crypto amendment, was born in 1934, actually making him part of the "Silent Generation" that precedes the baby boomers.

They're also called "the silent", which is what Mr. Shelby should've been on this topic.
