I keep seeing posts and comments on massive world events like the recent American Withdrawal of Afghanistan and the people struggling there, as well as the current Evergrande crisis. I see at least 2-3 posts about "this is why bitcoin was invented!!" to respond to these events.
Bitcoin was invented as a peer to peer electronic cash system that can't be tampered with and Satoshi (at least from his correspondence) was not really political or trying to "overthrow" anything. There's this quote:

Which does NOT mean he was a libertarian, just that it could be attractive to them!
Yes, banks fucking suck and over lend all the time. Yes, crypto CAN have the possibility of helping the unbanked or people in these war torn countries, but it's NOT why he started Bitcoin. A ton of you spend way too much time immersed in crypto you don't see that it can't solve every world problem and it never will.
