There's mass hiring for the said industry. But, the majority of the position offered required extensive technical knowledge, such as programming, coding, etc.
I came from a non-tech background and actually tried to look for non-tech jobs in this industry and I have two conclusions:
- They either offer super high-level tech positions, or
- Entry-level positions like KYC officer and Customer Success People
Don't get me wrong, KYC officers and CS people are some of the most important people in the industry as they are the bridge connecting us ordinary Joe into the crypto world.
Some middle-level non-tech positions I found are Brand Ambassador, Community Manager, HR, Marketing, etc. Coming from a marketing background with more than 5 years of experience in full-scale marketing campaigns including paid ads and SEO, I feel I'm not up to the level this industry has. Even though I've been educating myself, it just doesn't feel right, or enough.
To those who hold non-tech positions in the Blockchain / Web 3 industry, what are your experiences?
Disclaimer: I have a job, and don't plan to switch fields in the foreseeable future.
