Not all regulation is bad regulation, especially in a market where VC money is lawless

Don’t get me wrong, I’m against the vast majority of regulation being pressed on the crypto market. A lot of people left stocks and entered the crypto market for the volatility and lack of strict regulation.

However, the market is starting to grow so quickly, faster than anyone expected and there’s a lot of money on the line now.So many VCs are getting away with f#cking over innocent and unsuspecting investors and this need to be handled the right way.

I know that everyone should research before investing in what could be a VC scam but these VCs have made all it all the way to the legitimate projects and no one can legally stop them. Just look at what happened with Luna and what’s happening with Solana where VCs exited before everyone and started joking about it on twitter so casually and nonchalantly like they didn't just rip off hard working honest individuals.

Besides, I dont think we can ever dream of going mainstream if some form of minimal regulation that ensures fair play isn’t implemented. New L1s like Concordium know undeniably that for mainstream adoption to happen we needs to find ways to attract major companies while trying to work along some of the regulations imposed on them.

They already take advantage of zk proofs to ensure user privacy while also providing the ability to revoke anonymity which keeps regulators content while protecting the identities of users on the platform.

And this is exactly what I’m talking about. They’re more of “regulation friendly” and this is what we need, more L1s similar to this one.

We shouldn’t be scared of the word “regulation” if we know how to implement it the right way without going against the ideals that crypto stands for.
