This sub has a tendency to label every single anti-bitcoin/anti-crypto post, news story, or event as "FUD." FUD is spreading meritless information or making bad-faith posts/discussions about crypto. FUD isn't every single bad news story.
One of the biggest examples of this recently is the China situation. One of the largest economies in the world taking a hardline stance against crypto is not FUD- it's actually happening. I have no idea if it's what caused the recent dip, but lord, not every news story is positive. It's possible for their to be negative press about crypto that isn't wrong, misleading, or intended to spread fear.
An important part of making financial decisions is challenging your thesis. You can't do that if you disregard any negative news about your choices.
