Now that we finally moved to PoS, no one can criticize Ethereum for being “harmful”

Ethereum, while being by far the most popular, practical and most valued chain for multipurpose use, has been criticized by a good deal of people for being harmful for the environment considering how much energy it consumed daily to meet the demands of the market.

I can now happily say that these people can finally shut up from this day onwards.
Energy consumption is down to very insignificant numbers and Ethereum is now one of the most eco-friendly chains on the market.

Aside from the fact that this is indeed better for the environment, it will also start attracting many more companies, institutions, and independent developers to start building on Ethereum.

This will definitely help push Ethereum into the mainstream as more and more people would now be compelled to join.
We’re already seeing some universities like Harvard, UBC, MIT and many more work with crypto organizations like Bitdao to integrate tech students into the Web3 space through programs like Edudao
The merge will most definitely boost these number and hopefully we’ll see more and more builders now flock onto Ethereum.

I know for a fact that a lot of hidden talent will start showing after this merge.
Building on Ethereum will become much easier and soon enough much cheaper and faster as well in the upcoming years.

Despite some FUD floating around, I think that this merge is the best thing that could have ever happened to Ethereum to the point where I think the future Ethereum will be unrecognizable from the one we have today (and I mean that in the best and most positive way possible).
