I did not follow any guide and did it all by myself spontaneously . I installed ubuntu on an old laptop then downloaded bitcoin core and now about to download the blockchain.
My worry is that I never entered any commands in the ubuntu terminal like all the youtube videos and online guides tell you. I just used the mouse to click on things but it seems to have got me where I need to be (no terminals no commands no codes).
Any thing wrong with that way of running a full node ? Any one did the same thing when setting up their nodes?
