Orange pilling

This Christmas I think I successfully orange pulled my cousin but I changed my mode of attack. Instead of discussing Bitcoin specifically and Lightning, I simply spoke on the problem with money today, it’s history, inflation, the gold standard - I basically went full on Bitcoin Standard on him. Then he asked ‘okay but what can we do?’

Enter the Orange Beacon of Hope.

He replied with all the normal fud and was surprisingly receptive to all my responses. The biggest thing that won him over was optimism. I told him ‘there is one group of people optimistic about the future - Bitcoiners. I think it’s worth listening to the optimistic ones’ and that really got him.

We didn’t mention price once.
