Centralized Exchanges did not stop collapsing in 2022

The collapse of Centralized Exchanges (CEXs) did not stop last year. Over 40 CEXs have collapsed in the first few months of 2022. You would guess that most of these CEXs that failed would not be open to US customers, but that would be wrong. Over half of the CEXs that failed were open to US investors.

Below is a partial list of exchanges that have failed. Hopefully, you do not recognize the name of any of them but Bittrex. This just goes to show that crypto is a field where you want to go with well know players, not the new player on the block.
