People here misunderstand the reason why we hate banks.

I keep reading posts about how bad banks are and how people hate them, how they make money of fees, etc, etc.

None of this is a problem in any way. All of the above is just customer bad service by a private company.

The real reason why people hate banks is what they do with the money you put in there in the background.

They get your money, multiply it, lend it to rich people at low rates while lending to poor people at extortionate rates. The issues of fractional reserves. Using that money to affect markets in a way that they make money from this regardless of consequences for working people. All while giving you almost nothing back.

Crypto currency changes how money is used. Teaches people how money works, teaches you about the economy, gives you possibilities to increase your money and control it yourself. To make decisions yourself. Fixes several issues with the whole economy. All of those things that you do not get elsewhere which is done on purpose by not being taught any of this in schools.

This is why banks don't like crypto but payment processors do - they won't be affected, they can still process payments, but banks will - they won't have your money to play with.

These are the real issues that crypto will change, not that your bank has charges you fucking overdraft fees. Mine doesn't charge any fucking fees. Works great from consumer point of view. But all of the above still applies.
