As I'm sitting here literally eating ramen (legit, delish kind), I'm thinking how difficult it must have been to throw money out during times of duress in the market, knowing that you might never see that money again.

There was absolutely no way to know where crypto or the economy was going. Same for those who bought huge bags of ETH or Bitcoin in the early days when people said it was a scam.

This is why when there's blood, I buy a percentage of a crypto I'm interested. Gotta learn from the pioneers.
