On Sunday night Reddit systems were hacked as a result of a sophisticated and highly-targeted phishing attack. They gained access to some internal documents, code, and some internal business systems.
Based on Reddits investigation so far, Reddit user passwords and accounts are safe, but it still exposes how Reddit vaults could be of potential risks to be hacked. Reddit states that they recommend people to enable 2FA, but I donβt think thatβs enough.
I think the best solution would be to enable transfer of Moons to a ledger. While moons is steadily rising in value, I think itβs important that hard wallet storage is possible.
