She recently asked me to explain Bitcoin to her in more detail and help her get started with buying some. She seems to be convinced, but needs more information before pulling the trigger.
I'd like to point her in the right direction, but I have to admit I do not trust in my ability to explain this to her in a succinct and perfectly understandable way. There is so much to learn - the basics, security, the existence of other cryptocurrencies, the significance of recent news, why DCA, and so on.
She also has somewhat limited knowledge about everything investing, coding, economics and most other related topics.
One of my concerns is also that she seems to be risk averse and got excited when I explained TradFi to her. I am not sure how she'd handle a severe bear market. We also have split-shared finances, and I do not want her to invest her own money into something just because I do, it doesn't seem right - she knows about my stack but not how much I actually hold.
I thought it may be a good idea to provide the whitepaper to her, send her an interview of Saylor explaining BTC, get her the Bitcoin Standard as she loves books and then either get her a HW wallet, let her set it up by herself, gift her some sats or just point her towards BTC ETFs. Thoughts?
