Polygon main net suspended

Trying to send polygon using main network on Binance, it’s says suspended for maintenance cannot send . Has this been suspended for while? Any idea if it will be available soon ? Also am trying to send polygon to MetaMask, I have installed Matic net on metamask , I sent polygon from Coinbase to metamask and I received it the eth main net on meta mask , would I be right in thinking if I use Binance and chose matic net and send to metamask it I will receive in the matic main net instead of eth main net ? The fees to swap it over on meta mask from eth net to matic net are high as F , any help thanks .
