Portis Wallet Server issue

Hi there, I’ve been having some issues with Portis wallet (Portis.io) and any suggestions would be appreciated.

Essentially I had written down my Portis Wallet mnemonic not my eth private key some 4 years ago and when I used it to reset my wallet access the server gave me an error.

I can login successfuly but there’s no wallet connected, no private keys and a bunch of console errors. I've seen other users posting similar issues on reddit as well as in the Telegram support chat. I'm guessing the server is in some kind of maintence mode and any attempt to update a variable corrupts the wallet encryption.

I reached out to Portis Support and after receiving a few replies I haven’t heard back from them in over a month. I also contacted Tom Teman(founder) who moved on work for the Ethereum foundation to work on a new wallet;

From his point of view Kraken acquired Portis and then fired the team in November 2022 and since then the wallet has had no devs maintaining it. He recommended trying to contact them.

When I tried to contact Kraken they stated “For your information, Kraken is not associated with Portis Wallet. In addition, Tom Teman has never been a Kraken agent. “

So it seems I’m a bit shit out of luck.

Given that I know what my user name/password was prior to using the password reset mnemonic, do I have any chance at all in reverse engineering out my private key for my ETH wallet? I have about 9 ETH in there -_- . Other option that seems possible is if I could somehow get an old instance of the server/database.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
