I would like to open a discussion about posts and possibly comments generated by AI. There was a recent comedy post that stand out to me as little odd with phrasing and paragraph being similar to structure of what a Chat GPT will produce after a prompt.

I am user of GPT myself so I´ve asked the bot if the post was created by AI and to no surprise it confirmed my suspicion.

Even when it comes to shitposting as is, there is still somebody who have to think and create the post/comment. With prompting GPT and pasting text, all of the thinking and creative aspect is out of equation.

I can see it as way to find summarized information and sort of inspiration, but blatantly copying text straight from prompt to post seems a bit lazy and even the product might me nonsense.

Are we entering a new era of posts created by AI and pasted onto CC?
