QR coins since Apple news

A couple weeks this news broke. Since then projects with emphasis on quantum resistance (QR) continue to climb. ALGO, QANX, CELL, and QRL are most often mentioned for preparing.

Coin Bureau team had also been watching this as a narrative that could take hold this year. They've shared a public video about what to watch for.

I sort of fell into learning about the Quantum Computing risk a few years ago after buying a QR coin.

Over that time, I've concluded that businesses get it, and take it very seriously. Case in point with Apple. Also Google Chrome searches.

Retail has been resistant to listen because of the impacts to btc/eth and other top projects. It's usually met with "quantum will never happen" or "it will be an easy upgrade". As we know, nothing is easy in a decentralized world from consensus, build, test, to roll out. And since the initial weakness is with your signature, it will require time for users to migrate their holdings to a secure solution.

As you can imagine, I get BEAT UP with that message! So why do I still hold?

Because if businesses get it, and are still trying to figure out how they can effectively use blockchain, I think they can grab some of that market. That really is qanplatform focus with multi-language smart contracts and hybrid chain, along with QR and evm compatibility. This includes being able to use existing evm wallets.

And I think this can be true for more than 1 quantum resistant project that is properly prepared. If the narrative takes off with retail, I just view it as a big bonus.

In the end, I'd keep an eye what is happening and do some research. These coins definitely have a head start on this regardless of when you think the public will demand the risk is addressed.
