Hello all. With quantum computing on the foreseeable horizon I've been debating with myself if quantum computing will introduce a whole new era of cryptocurrencies and making the ones we have now more or less obsolete.
Will quantum computing add to the cryptocurrencies that are already here? Like significantly updating the way bitcoin, ethereum and all other cryptos or is this not feasible?
I'm not sure if quantum computing takes on it's own form of crypto currencies what that would do to the crypto we know today. Do you think they will both live separately or will one dominate over the other, or is this just not going to be a thing entirely?
I'm hopeful that quantum computing will eventually be a significant milestone for crypto in general but I'm just not sure if or how quantum computing will effect cryptos in general. Maybe I'm just hopeful to get in on something big that I missed out on. Maybe there's some validity.
So anyways, I'm very curious to everyone's thoughts on how quantum computing will effect cryptocurrencies if at all.
